Galleon versions 1.5.0 and above no longer support Ledger devices, however you can still access your accounts using the Ledger Live app with the derivation path 44'/1729'/0'/0'/0
Hi, I installed Galleon and created a wallet managed by the Ledger in the past. I have no password nor file. My wallet was always managed by the Ledger (login, transaction confirmations, etc…) Support of the Ledger is not supported as of Galleon 1.50. So I cannot access my Galleon wallet now. I followed your instructions in the Ledger Live but I can see only a balance of couple of Tezos on the Manager Account with the information that this is the staked balance. I staked hundreds of XTZ at a validator Bake Nug but I cannot see them in the Ledger Live.
Is there any other way how to get to my Galleon wallet?
Do you know your account address? If so, please check the account balance on tzstats.com or tzkt.io. If the balance looks correct, you may have to contact Ledger support.
It is a help outlet for Galleon. We cannot help you with other software. This is the most we can do as free software providers for an unfunded project.
Then could you please help me figure out how to get my private key from Galleon? I staked with your product using my ledger and now all I want is out. I just want to withdraw my funds from the staking contract and move to a new wallet. Please I’ve scoured this forum and others to no avail. Also the link you provide at the top is broken and leads to nothing on the ledger site.
I found an old snapshot of the ledger live FAQ link above that they seemed to have taken down, so it’s possible it’s no longer accurate: Tezos (XTZ) – Ledger Support
